Muxton Extra – Summer Holiday Club
Dear Parents and Carers,
Muxton Extra will be open for our Summer Holiday Club from 22nd July to 6th September. Bookings can be made through your child’s scopay account. We would appreciate your bookings being made as early as possible in advance so we can plan staffing levels and activities.
If you need to book for the 1st to 6th September then these dates will be available to book through your scopay account from the 1st August.

We have recently had a few cases of chicken pox reported. Please do be vigilant for symptoms. Children should remain absent from school until the spots have all scabbed over.

Bottle Donations for Summer Fair
Dear Parent and Carers,
The PTFA are asking for bottle donations please for our Summer Fair Tombola.
We are not asking for you to go out and purchase an item but to donate any bottles you may already have.
Please note, this is NOT a non uniform day, donations are for the Fair.
Any donations will be gratefully received and there will be a drop off point at the school gates this Friday morning.

We’re very pleased to announce that the Muxton PTFA Summer Fair will be back on Friday 24th June from 3:15pm to 6pm, to be held on the school field.
Please note that Muxton Extra Afterschool Club will be held in the school hall on that day, so please collect your child from the hall rather than our demountable building.
We are looking for volunteers so any offers of help would be appreciated. Please contact MuxtonPTA@hotmail.com if you are interested.

Health Protection Update
Dear Parents and Carers,
The local health protection hub have notified us that they are currently seeing increased cases of diarrhoea and vomiting in Primary School and Nursery settings.
Please can we ask for parents to be vigilant for symptoms. If children do experience sickness or diarrhoea they must remain absent from school for 48 hours following the last episode of illness.
