Homework 17.06.22

This week we have been exploring shadows. For homework we would like you to find a sunny spot outside, tape a piece of paper either to the floor or a table and place an object in the middle of the paper. Trace around the shadow that is made. Leave your object in exactly the same spot and see where the shadow is now. Draw around the new shadow. Come back each hour and draw around the new shadow. Make sure your object stays in the exact same spot. Bring your paper into school next week to share with your friends.

Did you see that during the jubilee celebrations the queen had a visit from Paddington Bear? Can you find out who wrote the Paddington Bear books and where Paddington came from. We will be sharing some Paddington stories over the next few weeks. You may like to borrow some of the books from your local library and bring them into school.

The children have told us that they enjoyed the Bond Bubbles activity on Purple Mash so we have set the next level for you to try.

Jubilee Celebrations

It was lovely to see the children dressed as kings and queens on Friday. We were impressed with how much information they shared with us about the Platinum Jubilee. We have put photos of the children and a variety of jubilee activities on Tapestry.
